Dr. Mercidieu “Phil” Phillips is a transformational leader whose passion is to positively touch people’s lives and effect holistic change. He is a much sought after conference speaker, teacher, business consultant and coach. His worldwide work in places such as Asia, Israel, Europe, South America, the Caribbean and across the United States, has made him an inspiration to millions. He is the founder and senior pastor of Agape Christian Fellowship, a fast growing multi-ethnic church. He is the President and CEO of Level Up Partners Coaching and Consulting Inc. Dr. Phil is the author of several books including, Armed for the Journey, Divine Repairs and Managing The Silence of God. He has also written dozens of published articles on family, organizational development, and leadership.
Pastor J. Denavard Tranquilus
Associate Pastor
Pastor J. Denavard Tranquilus is a transformational and gifted leader who seeks to empower others towards a better life. He has worked in numerous capacities as an executive director and currently serves as associate pastor at Agape Christian Fellowship.
Pastor Tranquilus is passionate about leadership and organizational development. He is a much sought-after conference speaker and trainer. He is an internationally recognized worship leader and Bible teacher. His ministry experiences have taken him across the globe as he strives for greater impact.
Pastor Tranquilus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Organizational Leadership. He takes great pleasure in being the husband of Carine and together they have three children, Serge, Karynna, and Denarson.
Chris Buford
Creative and Worship Arts Director
Christopher Buford Sr. is a passionate worshiper who serves as the Creative and Worship Arts Director at Agape Christian Fellowship. At an early age, Chris understood and embraced the knowledge of music which has led him to become a successful director in the field of music. With the guidance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he has become an outstanding worship leader, songwriter and singer. Chris has taken part in many great opportunities to expand his music knowledge and career. He has a bachelor's degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. He has participated in the Ruben Studdard Music Camp, the Troy University Musical Showcase, and many other worship conferences and workshops. Chris has a genuine passion to change lives and to minister to people of all races, ages, and nationalities around the world. He is the loving father to Kamryn, Christopher Jr., and Ahmaud Buford. Chris’s hope is to build up a music city in Southwest Florida.
Emma Phillips
Senior Administrator
Emma Phillips is a dynamic leader whose sole passion is the advancement of God’s Kingdom. She is a gifted administrator whose ministry has touched dozens of lives and is an inspiration to many. Her professional pursuits include working in various administrative capacities as well as owning and managing her own business. Since joining the kingdom focus team of Agape Christian Fellowship, she has been serving as the Director of Ministry Development. Emma completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Trinity International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition at Keiser University. She is married to Dr. Phil Phillips and they enjoy living in Ft. Myers, Florida with their two children, Jehiel and Hadassah.
Wilma Davilus
Executive Ministry Director
Wilma Davilus is a native Floridian, who joined Agape Christian Fellowship in 2007. She has a passion for helping others gain a sense of belonging in whom God has created them to be, as evidenced by her service as the Director of Assimilation at ACF. She has served in multiple capacities within ministry where she has had the opportunity to use her passion for organizational development, social change and empowerment. Wilma has a Bachelors in social work from Florida Gulf Coast University, a Masters in social work from Barry University, and is currently pursuing licensure in the state of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She is very grateful to the Lord that she has been given the opportunity to use her life experiences and educational background for the advancement of the Kingdom. She also serves as the executive administrator for Level Up Coaching and Consulting. In addition, she has continued to serve in her community as a volunteer for several nonprofit organizations. Wilma is a proud mother of her two children, Zhayhana and Jeremiah.
